Feeding a baby onboard NCL

We're taking our (then) 8 month old baby on his first cruise this spring and it being our first cruise with a baby, I'm starting to fuss about details.

My TA told me to bring along all the baby food I need, which is fine for his evening porridge or mid day fruit snack, but he eats proper dinner with us back at home. He really hates those bland glasses of mashed up stuff they pass as baby dinner here, so I make all his dinners myself and there's no way I will get through customs with home made food (and it would spoil as well).

Can we order something off the menu for him at dinner? (It's probably a daft question, I know, but as an infant, he doesn't pay the full fare, so I'm just worried that food isn't included for him).
