Guarantees - which one to choose? Your opinions please

Sailing within 30 days and they have opened up both "W" guarantees and "Junior Suite Guarantees" - no Junior Suites to assign - only 1 Grand Suite and then several Owners suite, 2 bedroom suite, Royal suite

Opinion -better to go with the W or the Junior Suite -

What is the cost of each?

Oops sorry - the price for the W guarantee and the Junior Suite guarantee is the same - should have put that down since that is one of the reasons I am confused as to what to do. Thanks for your help -

If the W guarantee is the same rate as the JS guarantee then take the W as at least with the W there is a chance of getting a higher suite. In all likelihood you will still get a JS but there is always a chance.

A JS is the likely assignment, with either...and it's NOT a bad way to cruise! Lovely space!

Go for the W! At least there is a small possibility of something better. :D

:confused: why would you not take W GTY rate? You don't have a JS to pick from so location is not an issue. :confused:

We just upgraded to a W.....but were told that was a junior suite guarantee. There was no mention that it could be any suite. And in our booking, it also says junior suite guarantee. ?

I personally like the junior suite better than the grand suite that we were in. Loved the walk in closet, and the layout was nicer, imo.

"W" can be any suite, JS or better. We've received a GS before when we have a "W".

what is this guarantee you speak of? First Junior Suite not till June 30, 2018. How much are they and when do they become available?

Price and availability vary. Most times, guarantees are not available at all. Do a mock booking of your cruise periodically to see if they are offering any guarantees.

More likely to be closer to sailing date and most of the time a fairly good discount from the regular JS price.
