10:05 flight from FLL?

Is a 10:05 flight out of FLL to early? Cruiseing on Celeb Melenium and coming into port on Sunday Feb 10th. Flight with Delta.

I don't think you will make it. By the time you get off the ship, find your luggage, I don't think you will have enough time to get through security..if you are even at the airport before the plane leaves.

I did an 11:40 and made it with time to spare. (not that much time to spare) 10am would be pushing it, really pushing it:eek: We're doing a 12:30 in four weeks.

Hint-use a porter after you find your bags, roll right passed others in customs line.

If you must.

Pack very light. Use small suitcase, carry on size. Get off the ship with your stuff own as early as they will let you.

Grab a cab.

The cruiselines recommend flights after 12. I agree, the stress on your vacation just isn't worth it.

I just took a look at www.cruisecal.com and there are 5 other ships disembarking that morning......if you don't/can't switch your flight, good luck!

We were on the Liberty, first in line to get off the ship (not self disembark) on Nov 10th we didn't get off until close to 10am. Self disembark was not a whole lot earlier

That is an important point here. People forget they are not the only ship docking. Even if the majority of pax have later flights, there will be a lot more traffic around and in the airport. I'd go for a flight after 11:30 for sure.

5 ships in port at the same time in Port Everglades is a slow day .....
