Just back yesterday. Can anyone explain the new member benefit that replaces the savings certificates?

It's now called exclusive benefits. Discounts on a huge number of cruises and not all cabins have a discount. Many times it is only one type of stateroom that is being discounted. Makes it very hard to search for great deals if you are looking at a number of different options.

The discounts vary in price for every cruise.

Not as user friendly as the last program but in the end there are probably more savings available unless of course they raised the price to allow for the greater discount.

We just got lucky with the new program. Happened to be trying to book a last minute cruise. Looked at options (on multiple cruiselines) Friday night but couldn't decide. Looked again on Saturday morning and came across a big discount on balcony rooms on Oasis in May. Got D2 rooms at $750 per person!

I had a similar experience. I was looking at the web site and got an 11 night cruise on the Voyager for about $920 inc. tips for an E1 balcony room as a solo. The next cheapest room was an interior room for $2400 plus tips.

The old system meant that they had to decide every quarter what cruises to discount and had no flexibility even if the ship was nearly full and a different one is still half empty.

All you can do is log in and then check any cruise that interests you.
