Smile "It's a Kinda Magic" October 16th,2011 (continued)

Please continue your Roll Call discussions in this thread.

Although it is closed to new posts, you can find your original roll here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showt...25291&page=378

I will not delete that thread until you cruise - so if you need information it will still be available there until then.

Thanks for your understanding

Default Guess I'm the first to see this

Guess we have outgrown our first thread!

I have been playing around with a new countdown clock today.
Trying to get it on my desk top but haven't figured it out yet.

Default Help please don't delete the prior thread at least

until after we are back from the cruise.

I still post on a prior cruise thread from three years ago, please at least leave the "part one" on the boards until after we return.
Thanks

This was done with out TA thread too and really hasn't posed a problem. It just makes it a little inconvenient to look back at what was said the last few days. It will get easier as everyone posts over here between now and 30 days from now. Yes, 30 days, woohoo!

Default Definitely Different

Well that was different... I agree with Claire, I have two roll calls from 4 years or more ago that I still keep track of. Every once in a while someone will pop up with a comment and then we get to talking again.

I always save the information I want to keep on my hard drive.
I post the closure of our thread on the Liberty TA thread. They closed it at about 23000. Right now we are at 6400.

Wow, I too was surprised to see this. I just didn't think this thread was that big. Hopefully, the very helpful things like Loretta's roll call will be posted again.

I was working on my packing list and added something I've never brought before - an extra pair of shoelaces. Probably because I've never work anything but sandals on a cruise before. I'm not wearing new shoes so my shoelaces are a bit worn and I don't want to have to go shopping for something like this. Breaking a shoelace is not a good way to start a morning. Another thing I'm bringing this time is a spray bottle of shoe stretcher since I'm wearing some new flats in the evening and I have no idea if I'm going to be dealing with any swelling from walking all day. I'm obviously running out of pre-cruise planning to do when it gets down to this. 27 more days to flight time and I am so ready to go.

Never knew them to close a roll call thread prior to a sailing.

Anyway, Hi everyone.

I agree, I hope Loretta reposts her list and yes...let's get cruising!

Wow!! So that's what it takes!!

They've been doing that for some months now, because, I presume, the servers are running anytime these big threads are open! So it comes down to: smaller size threads or new equipment! Perhaps a corporate Duh?? Steve

I have lists for my lists and charts and all kinds of stuff saved online. It's all printed out and in a folder. Most of it gets thrown away before I leave. The only really important things are my travel documents and my packing list. If I don't have one I will forget something I need (or think I'll need).

Speaking of printing stuff - I have about dozen copies of the map and self-guided walking tour for Dubrovnik for those of us who are doing it as a group.

I'm not bored and I actually have plenty to do at work. I'd just rather do this.

Default question for the ladies

Hello Girls, I have a question. I live in Florida and only wear open toe sandles and no panty hose. Can you go bare-legged on a Med cruise!!!??? Thank you.

Yes, indeed, but for walking on excursions on cobblestone streets you may want close toe shoes or walking sandals.
Welcome to our thread, I don't think you've posted before.
