Matanuska Glacier - Any place to wait?

Based on suggestions from BQ and other posters, my sister & I have decided to take a hike with MICA. We're driving from Anchorage that morning. My parents are not interested in the hike & are planning to spend time walking around Anchorage. Just making sure they won't miss anything at MatSu by staying behind. I assume there's no place to wait while we hike....?

Yeah they can wait in the store. But no I would go with your Anchorage touring idea, way superior then doing nothing. Plenty to see and do in Anchorage, request their guide http://www.anchorage.net if needed easy to get cabs via phone.
