What to do after cruise?

You should be able to check your bags using a service - luggage valet? luggage express? - then maybe a short cab ride and you can ride the water taxi, early lunch, then a cab to the airport?

Your cruise line may offer excursions that include bus transport to FLL.

I would just wait on board. Be the last person off. I usually read a book in a comfy chair. Then take a car over to the AP early & finish the book. It's really not that much time to kill & an absolute delight not to be fighting the crowds to disembark. It's also really easy to find your luggage.

they usually push you off by about 9:00 or just after - with a 2:00 PM flight that is a lot of sitting around at FLL  - I would find something to do for a couple of hours and get to the airport about 12:30
