We were on the Freedom last week at Port Canaveral and we got the same email, and according to the deck we were on (6) we were not supposed to board until 2PM. We arrived a little before 11AM and were on board in the Windjammer at noon. Just ignore it as I did.

You are more likely to get one of these if you'll have delayed embarkation - isn't 3:30 arrival at the terminal kinda late for a 4:30 departure?

Do they anticipate a late deaprture?

I know I thought that too, but it didn't say anything about delayed departure. No way was I going to show up at 3!!

The reality is that it is a win-win situation. CC members and some experienced pax know to ignore it, while the majority probably does not and they abide by it.

Thus RCI still spaces out boarding to some extent while other pax get there early and still get on.:D
