Carnival suites floor plan

I see that the description says

This suite features twin beds that convert to a king-size bed, a private balcony, sitting area, dressing room with vanity, walk-in closet, wall safe, refrigerator, bathroom with tub and shower, TV with remote control, VCR, and complimentary room service (245 - 275 sq. ft. plus 85 - 220 sq ft. balcony).

What do they mean by the term "Sitting Area" and is the suite one big room? Does anyone have a floor plan of a suite?

What we saw on the Liberty was one big room...

Thanks for your replies. The reason I asked is that we were thinking about asking a third person to cruise with Derfette and I and wondered if the third person has sort of a seperate area. It appears as if their is none.

We had a "sitting" area in our cat 11:

It was a couch, a desk, with the TV and VCR, bordered by the entrance hallway, the separate vanity room, and another hallway that led to the bedroom.

Nope. This particular cabin only held two people. I had to put my 6 year old in the adjoining cabin (which was a cat 8 *, and no, she wasn't bumped).

But it was like having a 2 bedroom suite.

SEPARATE VANITY:

Quote shocking when you come out of the bathroom after your shower.

I have noticed that there are different floorplans. Some are more like a 2 room suite, some are large one room suites.

I had a cat 11, in the almost aft corner on Spirit class. It was one large room. certainly no privacy for a third party.

Perhaps if you identify the ship you are interested in, you can get more specific answers.

Some of the aft cat. 11 suites with wrap around balcs on Spirit class ships have a separate bedroom. I don't know which ones but I'm sure someone else does.:)

I believe the cat 11's on decks 4 and 5 are one big room and 6, 7, 8 are a little larger and divided. We're looking forward to 7298 at the end of February. See following thread for pics of the multi-room cat 11.

The best source, that I am aware of, for specific deck plans is from the inside of your cabin door - where the instructions/map is given for your muster station:

I had 8273 on the Spirit, a Cat 11 suite with wrap around balcony. It is for three, and the third person would be in the living area on the couch; plenty of privacy!
