Some have had them for a long time now, others only recently introduced a few 'F' seats at the front of the plane.

Personally on these small regional jets I never bother even thinking about 'F', especially on short connecting flights which is what these are typically used for.

Paying extra for so called first on those small planes is not worth it, IMO. I also avoid regent transfers most of the time. They are not private transfers, which means you are waiting around for a large number of people and their luggage to arrive, possibly on different flights. In Miami, you are way better off just taking a taxi.
