Mariner's Court Hotel Sydney

We will be staying at the Mariner's Court Hotel in Sydney for 4 days before our RCCL cruise on Mar 16, 2015. We don't need anything fancy just clean and inexpensive. Any opinions? Has anyone stayed there?

Have not stayed there but do know the location. It is in the historic area of Woolloomoolloo. You will need to rely on public transport to get into the CBD (downtown) area of Sydney. Contrary to some tripadvisor statement, the Kings Cross station is too far away and hard to get to. Local buses will get you to the city or Kings Cross.

There are some very classy restaurants at the nearby pier.
