My nieces (now 13 and 16) have cruised a few times now and we're going on the Mariner in July....they love it! There's just enough freedom to come and go (set your rules though!!) and there are usually lots of other kids their age onboard. They'll love it!!

I can't agree more about setting a few rules prior to the trip. And to let them know that rules are subject to change. My teenage son was as good as gold last year, but my daughter sprouted horns and a pitchfork. One example was having to get security to open one of our cabin doors because she had deadbolted it (@ 1 AM!!!) [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif[/img]

Teens will have a great time aboard Mariner. A great arcade and lots of sports activities.
