Hey everyone! Wow, sorry for the uber long delay. I've had two weeks of overtime at work (I wouldn't be surprised if we have more next week) and just haven't had the time or energy to continue this until today. But I'm so thankful and happy that you're all still interested.

I do see that I've exceeded my Photobucket bandwith, haha. I'll have to use a different image host for this upcoming batch since that bandwith won't refresh until February 6th (I believe). Unfortunately since I can't edit all those past posts there won't be any old pictures until the new cycle starts :(

I just found your review today and read through the whole thing. You're doing a great job. I love your pictures. I am hoping to do this cruise in a couple years. We are doing Alaska this summer so then I " need" to do Hawaii. I have never been on NCL but I will try it for Hawaii since it's the only company that does the islands without having to spend days getting there. I can't wait to read more!

Thank you so much! I've heard good things about an Alaskan cruise so I hope you have fun! Also hope you do do this cruise sometime! I know there's not a lot of choice for inter-island cruising without all the sea days getting to Hawaii but it was still an amazing experience!

With all the things I still want to do and missed doing in Hawaii, I definitely want to go back. Having the funds to do so is another story, haha.

I am loving this review. Where did you see those giant sea turtles - I'm sure you said, I probably just missed it. You are doing a fantastic job with your posts and pictures!

Thank you so much for reading! I don't believe I mentioned where we saw those giant turtles, probably because I don't entirely remember, haha. I know Mary Lou mentioned it was near the ship, and if you're leaving from the ship I know it's a left turn on the road (because we turned right heading towards the ship), but I can't remember the beach name unfortunately :(

I can't thank you enough for taking the time out to write this review. It is one of the best reviews I have seen, and I have looked at quite a few. I am going on this cruise in April and will be staying in Oahu for four days before the cruise. We are also staying in the Waikiki Shore condos as well You have given me lots of great information as well as awesome pictures.

 

Thank you SO MUCH for post pictures of the dailies. I have been looking everywhere for them and have only been able to find ones from years ago. Thanks so much again and I can't wait to read the rest of your review.

Where were the turtles?

I unfortunately don't recall the name of the beach that we saw the turtles. I know Mary Lou mentioned it was near the ship, so if you search for black sand beaches near the pier it'll come up. I apologize :confused:

I brought along three cameras on this trip :p An old Canon one that I gave to my mom when we weren't together on an excursion, an underwater one, and a new one that I mainly used, which I think is the one you might be asking about. It's the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX400.

I'm glad you're loving the review and the pictures! Thank you for reading! And you're so lucky to be going on that cruise again! Haha, there are so many places I want to visit, and Hawaii isn't cheap, but it'd be awesome if I get to go back. Thanks again!

Day 12 – 10/15/14 – Kona, The Big Island of Hawai’i

Kona treated us much better than Hilo did, as we had a nice, dry sail into port. I don’t believe I had breakfast on the ship this morning since I don’t have a picture of it, haha. Today my mom and I had different things planned, so she had breakfast in Cagney’s so that after Thomas, the concierge, could help lead her down for priority tendering that passengers in suites have. And she didn’t take any pictures of her food so no breakfast food porn for today, haha.
