Breakaway - Shampoo/Conditioner

I've been slowly making my way through the threads and have done a couple searches for this info and haven't found out anything concrete yet, i even called NCL and they didn't seem to know for sure either way.

For anyone who has travelled on the Breakaway what is stocked in the bathrooms by means of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel ? If it makes any difference its for a balcony room.

Just trying to keep any unnecessary toiletries out of my luggage as they always end up being so heavy. Also if anyone knows the brands of the shower ameneties? I heard they only used Elemis in the higher category state rooms.

You are correct...Elemis products are in the suites. Generally in the other cabins it's a wall dispenser with shampoo/conditioner combo and shower gel. You can ask your cabin steward for bar soap, though.

In our mini-suite we had a shampoo/conditioner and a shower gel dispenser. There was some other type of soap by the sink. They did not provide any little bottles of anything.

If your hair needs extra conditioning, bring a travel sized bottle with you. The shampoo/conditioner in the shower dispenser was not enough conditioner for me. I was glad I brought my own. Also brought my own favorite bar of soap. Did not care for the ship's body wash.

My son coulda cared less.

sorry to dredge this up again, but just to add to it with another question -

do the spa balcony's carry the elemis products? or is it the same soap/shamp/cond as the regular balcony staterooms.

I don't know about the spa balconies but I do know you can ask your steward for bar soap and conditioner and usually you will be given the little Elemis products. ..

The shampoo side is shampoo/conditioner in one. (It will do the job, but most women will hate it) The other side is body/shower gel. All rooms on all ships are the same unless you are in a full suite. In that case you get Elemis bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc.

Bring conditioner, and moisterizer (body/hand cream) if you use

I'm not very particular about shampoos (usually buy whatever is on sale), but I must say that the shampoo in those dispensers is the worst I've ever experienced, and bring a small bottle of my own.

In my experience, I *always* bring conditioner.

If you're really nice to your steward, they can usually find someone from a shipmate, but that's most likely on a case-by-case basis.
