2 people from IAH to Galveston

I have looked through this site and nobody has mentioned the best way for just two people to get from IAH to Galveston. My flight arrives at IAH at 7 PM so the Galveston shuttle is not an option. Does anyone know how much a cab is from IAH to Galveston? I am thinking about $100. any help would be appreciated thanks

I would suggest checking on a rental car. We got one through Enterprise. we pick it up at airport and turn in Galveston for 24.00 total

After much research, we too decided to go with a rental car from Enterprise. We are staying an extra day so are keeping ours for the week, but the price of that plus parking is still less expensive that what a shuttle or van was going to cost. It also depends on the time of year but you might give them a shot.

I'm sure this is no help to you, but it is preferable to fly into Hobby Airport when cruising out of Galveston. IAH is a couple hours from Galveston, whereas Hobby is only about 45 minutes. The car rental sounds like your best option. Good luck!
