POA 9582- just got my room assignment

I am so excited that our room assignment was posted today :)

We are in room 9582 on the POA. We are sailing in 15 days and I am trying to resist the urge to pack my suitcase.

Does anybody have experience/information with this room? We booked a balcony guarantee.

I always start packing way early. It takes a lot of time and planning and it makes the trip feel closer.:)

I think you got a great cabin. Port side balcony, which will be great for the Na Pali coast sail by. It's roughly mid ship, which is the best location if you are sensitive to motion. And you are located roughly between the forward and mid ship elevator banks and stairs, so you can go either way depending on destination. Nothing above or below you except for other cabins, so it should be quiet.

Hope you come back and let us know how the trip was. We are booked for August 16.

I am excited about the cabin. There are three of us (me and my 65 year old parents) so I hope the sofa bed is comfortable. I have never cruised without a "bed". I have no back issues and I am only 42, so I am sure it will be just fine.

You can always ask for an "egg crate" pad if necessary. Enjoy your cruise!
