Where to rent a car

Where can I rent a car in Kona and Hilo. We will be arriving via cruise ship.

Just pick your island. On Kona be sure to choose Thrifty, which is right at the tender drop off in the King Kam Hotel. You could also choose Enterprise which will pick you up and drop you off at the big Banyon tree at the tender drop off. All the other car rentals are out of the airport which is some distance away.

If you later decide to rent in Maui, make sure you pick the correct port.

Yeah these guys do a great job of handling changes. We used hem in 2012 and are using them again in September.
