Can you use a debit card to book?
I guess I should know this, but I have never done this. My friend who is a first titme cruiser and just about to book a cruise just called, and asked-Can you use a debit card (that says Visa/MC) to book a cruise?

You can but safer to use a CC. If your using a TA you are protected (to some extend) from the TA taking your money and running away with it. If with the cruise line no problem.
