Recently found out that they are planning a Kiss Kruise-Wet, wild & Rockin for October 13 on the Carnival Destiny. Kiss Army members (paid fan club) were given specific times they could register begining May 26th. The regular fan club can start booking May 30 and the public can book after June 7th. We got in at 1:45 pm the first day.

Hope to see more Kiss Fans there!

When I Read about the Kiss Kruise it sounded great. At least until I saw the prices of the cabins for this cruise. Way too expensive for our blood. The amount this cruise wanted for one person in an inside cabin is what I decided to pay for a different cruise with three passengers in an ocean view cabin. I’m sure everyone on the Kiss Kruise is going to have a great time.

Initially, I was a little surprised by the prices as well. We went on a 9 day Mexican Riviera cruise in February. Our balcony room was ALOT less for that cruise than this one is for the interior cabin we have booked.

However, my hubby is a major Kiss fan. He has been to over 15 Kiss concerts. Our entire basement was remodeled around his collection of Kiss. He even has 3 Kiss tattoos, one of which is Gene Simmons' face, tattooed on his chest! He religiously watches 'Family Jewels' and has read every book Gene Simmons has written. It has been a dream of his, for a LONG time, to be able to meet Gene Simmons.

I was going to spring for Meet & Greet packages the next time we went to a concert. With the $750 price tag for the Meet & Greet on top of the price of a concert ticket, the price for the cruise is actually very reasonable! 2 concerts, a Q&A session with the band, photo with the band, added to the fact that we will be on a CRUISE!! Also, at the indoor concert, our seats will be in row 2-4 on the side of the stage that Gene (hubby's idol) is on. Not to mention-we are going to Carnival's private Island, AND Nassau Bahamas!!!! Paradise! The band will be on the ship the whole time too-we may run into any or all of them and/or their families at the pool, casino, in the buffet line, who knows??? I doubt they will lock themselves in their cabins for the entire cruise! We could end up playing beach volleyball with KISS on Half Moon Cay!!!

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for my husband-you can't put a price tag on that. In my oppiion, it would be a good deal at twice the price (although at twice the price we probably wouldn't be able to go! lol);)!

Even though the price was a little more than we would normally spend on a longer cruise, we decided to do whatever it took to go on this one. My Husband is a Kiss FANATIC!!!

Luckily, things just got a little easier for us!:D

I found out earlier, from Alex at Sixthman, that my essay & entry into the Father's Day contest was chosen!! We won the cruise, paid in full (except the $199 taxes & fees, for Tim & I, along with 2 of our children!!

I have never won anything, EVER!! I am still in shock!

I am so proud of Tim, since he is the WORLD'S GREATEST DAD, he really deserves this!
