Joanne, are you out of school yet? My son and his family leave on Tues for VA. They are staying in Williamsburg three night and 4 nights at VA beach. Tell us more about the river cruise. I want to plan one of those too.

Merry - what are your summer vacation plans?

Had two grands here overnight and need to get ready for breakfast soon. I also have company for dinner tonight - busy day.

Only 9.5 days of school left and 3 more days of standardized testing.

We are looking forward to our river cruise with VantageTravel. We will travel from Cologne to BUdapest, with many small town ports of call. SHould be fun.

Sounds like everyone is busy with cruising, working, playing, etc. I am glad that we still check in periodically.

Gail - I'll let you know about the river cruise when I get back.

I am leaving on June 24th, with my Sister Jean and friend Carol, to visit my Florida Sister! We're excited to get away! We will leave her house on the 30th and head up to Tennessee, to visit my Brother Ray for a few days! Rick and I are probably going to take a vacation the end of August or first of September! Thinking about going back to Indian Rocks Beach in Florida! It was such a relaxing trip! I can tell we're getting older! LOL! Love u all and miss our regular chats here! I am on Facebook more and am busy like all of you! Love all of Linda's pix on Facebook...she looks like she's having a fabulous trip! This is a busy week for me...trying to get things tidied up, before I leave. Hoping to take Jaden and Kira to Kings Island on Thursday! Going to a wedding on Sat. And Sun., in Kentucky...back home Sunday, only to leave Monday Morning for Florida! I'm tired already! LOL! Can't wait to spend a couple of days at the Beach! And all the yummy seafood!

Hi all,
Just back from our cruise. We went to Barcelona, Marseilles, Florence, Rome, Naples, Sicily, Dubrovnik and Venice. The ports were incredible, the ship was mediocre. Missed you all on the trip..... but did meet some nice people. The itinerary was exhausting. Each port was a long excursion... some of them up to 10 hours long. Savanna did so well.... she survived without her Mom for 12 days and we enjoyed being with her every day. I am not sure we will cruise Carnival again but the schedule was just what we wanted. Now I need to start thinking about where to go next :-)
