Me and my sister are flying in to New Orleans for a 11 day cruise so we would like to get some of our favorite diet canned cokes before getting on the ship. We realize we will have to take a taxi to the ship. Anyone have any thoughts.. she is thinking take public transportation to a store and then take a taxi to the ship. What public transportation is there in New Orleans? We do travel light only one bag a piece.

In the past We have bought the coke card pass but it would be quite pricy for this long trip and we do not need that many.

Ask the cab driver how much extra he/she would charge to stop at a grocery en route between the airport and the cruise terminal.

The one closest to the terminal is the Rouse's Supermarket at 701 Baronne Street, about seven blocks away.
