Question about Flam to Gudvangen boat & bus

We are on the fast boat from Flam to Gudvangen at 10:00 - 11:30 and then the bus to return is at 11:35. I seem to recall reading that the bus can be hard to locate and since we only have 5 minutes, I am wondering if someone can help me learn where to catch the bus and whether the bus typically waits for the people on the boat? Thank you!

The bus will wait. Everyone on the bus will have just gotten off the ferry so if it left without you it would be empty 😊 No worries.

We have a similar connection, and I went on live chat and asked the tourist office about it. They explained that the bus waits for the boat, if the boat is late.

The folks on the boat will point you to the bus stop. You can see it from the boat.
