Favorite NCL Hull Art

cc member Marco posted a great thread asking whether or not members like NCL's hull art (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2070499). Most seem to like it, but others prefer the clean look of a solid color ship. Some of the opinions led me to wonder which hull art do people like the best, hence this poll.

The question is, which NCL ship hull art do you like the MOST

So far, from what I've seen of the Escape, that is my favorite. Of the current ships, I like Dawn the best. My least favorite, hands down, is the Breakaway.

Don't see the poll, but my favorites are the ones that translate... Jewel has jewels, Gem has gems, Sun as a sun, etc. Breakway has... ?!? Peter Maxx? Doesn't translate for me...

Of those currently sailing, it's the Getaway, love the creativity. I do, however, like the preliminary of the Escape but too often the prelim doesn't translate into the actual hull art.

Have to agree that BA is my least favourite.

It's ok Mike, it's from 2012, Escape wasn't even a twinkle in our eye, :p .

Never sailed on her but always loved the Sun's hull art. 1 for the Sun :)

I like most of them but voted for the Star since she was my first NCL ship. :)

It's the Sky for me, even though I've never sailed her. Love the lei around the hull! Wish I'd sailed her when she was in Hawaii.

sdmike: I'm glad you started this thread! I think its fun to see what everyone's thought is regarding their favorite. I didn't intend to start controversy, arguments, snarky remarks or name calling.....just looking to see to what to what different folks think of it, especially after the comments I heard on the cruise we were on, which pretty much ranged from "love it" to "hate it'. As they say, opinions are like noses.....everyone has one and they all smell.

I went for the breakaway. Art is very subjective.

My favorite hull art is on the Pearl. I just love the colors, the design and size.

My favorite hull art is EASILY the Breakaway. It looks stunning up close. Least favorite is the pearl. Ship looks like it has a case of mouth herpes ;)

...and the people that like the Breakaway hull art are more than likely New Yorkers because it is all about them.
