NCL Epic - Western Med - Good for meeting?

Hi,

I'm thinking of booking myself on the NCL Epic Western Med setting off for a week from Barcelona on 9th August. Not been on a cruise before.

I'm 31/Male/UK and would like to meet other single travellers on this trip.

Is this a good ship/time/location?

Not sure if you decided to go or not but I just returned from this cruise; 11/1 - 11/8/15. I have cruised numerous times and this ship was awesome. I also went alone and it was still great. I did not know about this cite beforehand - too bad. but going forward this site can be useful for meeting other single travelers.

I've cruised solo on the Epic twice. The studios, in my opinion, are perfect if you're traveling alone. The lounge has a perfect set-up for meeting people. Your roll call here on Cruise Critic is also a great way to get acquainted and meet new friends before you even leave your home.

I really wish they would have balconies for solo cruisers. seems they are all inside cabins and I always want a balcony. I was looking at going on the Breakaway Nov 27, 2016 - Dec 11, 2016, to the southern Caribbean but was afraid I wouldn't find anyone to go as a second guest. I had a Spa Suite last time on EPIC and now I'm spoiled. haha
