Saint Petersburg Excursion Question

We will be taking Baltic cruise on RCCL and we stop in St Petersburg on a tues. It appears that Catherines Palace is closed that day but RCCL has an excurion that supposedly tours the palace that day. Does anyone have the lowdown on this. We will be on Brilliance of the Seas
