Miami child friendly beach?

Is there any beaches you can recommend near South Beach that are cool to take a 4 year old to the day before our cruise? We are staying right by the Port of Miami. Thanks

Why not South Beach? Other than Key Biscayne, they have the nicest beach in the greater Miami area.

I should have said in south beach... is there a better part of the beach to take children or just anywhere is fine?

The South Point Park area will have more families during the week. Otherwise, anywhere is fine. You may have more beach rentals further north of Lummus Park.

I concur; anywhere in South Beach. I also like the beach at the south point. But, wherever you decide to go, I think all beaches are kid friendly. I grew up at the beach, and it's a no-brainer for me that kids and the beach go together. Have fun on your trip.

Thanks. I looked up South Pointe and that looks great. We are going to do that and have a meal at that restaurants there outside hopefully. I can't wait! Haven't been to South Beach I'm over ten years.

Smith & Wollensky and Nikki Beach are $$$$.

S&W seemed like it would be a good choice with a4 yr old right? With the outside seating i was thinking.
