Hope someone can help. We are interested in an Alaskan sailing on the Sun, having read through it seems that Deck 6 or 6a would be perfect. As the jogging track goes round deck 6 can joggers 'see inside our cabin' if we had a window or port hole?
Also, never having sailed NCL before, would this also be an area where smokers would gather? Hope these aren't too (two) stupid questions

From looking at the floor plans floor 6 would be nice. I dont think unless someone specifically stops and puts their face to the window they are really going to be able to see in. Of course a jogger is not going to stop long enough and will most likely be looking at the views of Alaska. That being said, im sure if someone really wanted to they could look in.
As for the smoking I cant help you there as I have not been on the Sun yet, but it actually looks like deck 7 might be where the smokers are allowed to go, but they may have to go all the way to the pool deck. Im sure someone will come along and know more about that. We are taking the Sun to Alaska in June and can not wait |

During the day passer byes will not be able to see in. At night if you have the lights on close the curtains.
As far as smokers they are only allowed on the port side. |

You could not walk the whole track after 8 pm when I cruised on New Years. You had to cut through the ship and cross width wise before the bow and again before the stern if I am remembering correctly.
Loved how you worded your inquiry!

Thanks to everyone of the tips and advice, and please be assured that it was for the benefit of those ON the track I was asking, I'd hate for them to have a shock and fall overboard!
