Suggestions for travel from Southampton to Amsterdam

Would like information and personal experience regarding travel from Southampton to Amsterdam. Thanks......:)

You can fly direct from Southampton Airport to Amsterdam. It takes just over an hour.

FlyBE have direct direct from Southampton Airport. Not too many though so you may have to book an afternoon flight (there is one at 14:00) to be sure of catching it.

Note that this is a budget airline so you need to go through the whole booking process to see how much they will charge for your luggage etc. Also note that Amsterdam is one hour ahead of the UK so you need to add that to your flight time of 1½ hours.

I know what you mean, Bob, but I think you've put it a bit confusingly.The flight time is still 1 and a half hours!.

Yeah - OK - I assume that anyone flying across the Pond, will be well aware of time differences. I just thought they might not realise that Amsterdam is in a different zone.
