Phillipsburg Water Taxi schedule

How often does the water taxi run between the port and the beach area? We are docked for 9 hours and thought about going back to the ship after sunning, and then back to town to shop.

A couple weeks ago we took it, and the sign said it ran every 10-15 minutes. We were surprised and pleased that it departed with only 2 other ppl on board, tho't we'd have to wait for more ppl. Last one back to the ship leaves town at 5:30. $5 one way, $7 all day pass. Docks at the center of town.

I think they leave when near full, or when the 15 - 20 minute clock ticks down, as there is probably another Water Taxi coming back to the pier.

Besides the Cruise Facility, there are actually three official Water Taxi piers, Bobby's Marina, at the Head of town, Wathey Pier in the center of town, and the Downstreet Pier, at the 'far' end of Frontstreet (wich may not be used frequently).

I haven't determined the schedule if a ship stays late.
