Lima to Santiago- Best airline to use?

I think there are ony acouple of chocies for non-stop flights with one airlines, LAN ahving by far the most flights. LAN is a perfectly reasonable airlines and it would be my choice.

I fly that route at least 4 times per year. It is always on LAN, whether LAN Peru, Lan Chile or even Lan Ecuador now.

 

I flew TACA one time about 5 years ago. I really felt "unsafe". I don't know why-same Airbus equipment as LAN. But I just didn't feel the mechanical portion of the plane was as safe as most airline.

 

Now it is ALWAYS LAN.
