I was reading everyone's favorite ship and saw that the Splendor was rarely mentioned. Now I'm wondering what the difference between Splendor and the others are.....so what's all the differences between ships (other than obviously size)

There are different classes of ships: Fantasy (the smallest), Triumph (medium size), Conquest (basically the same as Triumph, only longer) Spirit (Narrow enough to go through the Panama Canal) Dream (Largest size), and the Splendor which is a class in itself. It was originally built for the Costa line but was put in the Carnival line instead. When the Destiny was built, she was the largest cruise ship afloat. She is being refitted and will come out as the Sunshine and will be in a class by herself.

Is that it? I just wonder if some have rollerskating instead of mini golf. Or three shows instead of one? Know what I mean? MAJOR differences. I guess I don't get why some people prefer other ships if they are all the same. I'm new to cruising and seriously just curious
