Room change for upcoming Celebrity Silhouette cruise (10 Feb Western Caribbean)?

As a family of 4 (all adults), we booked 2 Aquaclass rooms next to each other. There is now an opportunity to pay a difference of 1,500USD per person (ie 3,000USD for the room) for a Celebrity Suite "Guarantee". I was thinking of your thoughts on whether this is worth doing for my parents as a gift (with the other room remaining as is).

-pros: obviously nicer room, CS is sold out but there are 3 RS rooms so fingers crossed this might mean a double upgrade
-cons: no more AQ benefits for the upgraded room (mainly Blu), possibly being really far from each other (the remaining 3 RS rooms one is on deck 11 (1612) and on deck 10 (1239 and 1118)) etc etc

Would you guys do it?

No, thats a LOT of money, when you only really sleep, and change in your room. Aquaclass is lovely, and although you can eat in Blu if you are in a suite (for a supplement i believe) it would be nice for all of you to be automatically together in Blu. I just think that its a huge price, when your parents will be happy just as they are, for sure.
