What happened to Tim Donovan??

I recently returned from 35 days Hawaiian cruise. Tim Donovan CD joined the ship in Suva and left in Honolulu.

Does anyone know why??

not sure if its correct but they said on the Golden last week his medical clearance wasnt up to date

I was on that cruise, he had left the ship prior to Suva for a cruise director conference. He re joined us in Suva and his contract expired when we arrived in Honolulu.

He is having a 2 month break and he's is coming back to the Golden in the roll of Entertainment Director.

Thanks for that info. We really enjoyed having him as the CD and couldn't find out why he was no longer on the ship, except that there was a medical problem, which is probably not true. Tim has been on 2 of our previous cruises, the Sun and Golden and has always been a ball of energy. Glad he is still with the Princess CD's.

He will still be with Princess but will no longer be Cruise Director. He has accepted a promotion to Entertainment Director.
