Amtrak discount code for Carnival Cruisers?

Will be traveling to NO via Amtrak in Sept. 2014. I thought Amtrak offered a discount but, can't locate one. Anyone use lately?

Call 1-800-USA-Rail and tell them you are inquiring about fare code# V875 for your Carnival/Amtrak discount. I work for Amtrak but NOT in the reservations department. From what I can see it looks like 20% off but I can't tell if that's off the full fare or discounted fare. Just give them a call to check to verify.

Hi BlasianGrl, DW and I are sailing on the Dream from New Orleans Jan. 11th and Amtrak told me that fare code #v875 ends on Dec. 24th. you wouldn't happen to know the new code for after that date would you? Tried calling Carnival and they couldn't find it... :(
