I've been searching for answers but haven't gotten very far. We are booked through NCL on just the preserve park tour 526893d65b392aaac9ea3c8e09f5cb35.jpg(not Tamblyn beach) in the description in states after the tour your can take a dip in the carribbean sea.

How long do we have after the tour to go in the ocean before our excursion transfer heads back to the port?

Are there any food or drink to purchase or that comes with it? Or should I buy water bottle from the ship and take granola bars?

If there were food and drink to be offered, the description under the "more details" button would say so. Don't know where Tamblyn Beach is but Tabyana Beach is both a specific stop on the beach and the general location name of the West Bay beaches. There is water access at Gumbalinda, but I do believe their tours with beach time head to Tabyana, which is not that far away.
