Has anyone taken this tour recently? Some of the past threads talk about the open sided vehicle (that shows on their website), and others talk about an old van that is used. I'd like to hear some reviews before I book this. Thanks!

Used this particular vendor but not recently.

However, at the time, we where asked in advance (as we pre-scheduled our tour and exchanged emails with the merchant)
if we have a preferance and eventually decided for the van (may also be based on the availability too):
