I heard that the unlimited drink package is discontinued from March - April for Spring break. Any truth to this rumor?

Yes, it is suspended for all cruises from March 1 - April 15, considered Spring Break season.

Availability:

· Not available on the Pride of America

· Not available during Spring Break (March 1 - April 15)

· Not available on 1-2 day sailings.

That could be a great thing. When you hear about what happened on some cruise lines. Having to refuse boarding for some of the young folks. Climbing over to different balconys....really scarry stuff. Unlimited....may cause more alchole (excuse spelling) poising than a frat party...

i am leaving on april 14th on the jewel, would i not be able to purchase the drink package?

Agree. I noticed that when I was on the Star a few weeks ago.

It would be interesting to know how they will handle a ship leaving on the 14th. I doubt there is an answer.

I know the search is unavailable but there was a long post regarding the feasibility of buying one anyway. Since all in the cabin have to buy it, for two, $100+ a day was not feasible with a port intensive cruise. We (at least I) like to drink and our bar bill wasn't that high.

Now if I included all of the drinks in ports, I would have been there but on ship, no.
