Acadia Tour Company

Has anyone done the 3 hour Acadia Park tour and Cadillac Mountain with Acadia Park Tour Company? Just wondering how fast they fill up? It says we can purchase tickets in town but reservations are recommended.

DH and I used Acadia Park Tour company three years ago. We made advanced reservations and were glad when we got there because they were sold out for the 10 AM tour, which is when we wanted to do the tour. I would advise advance reservations. We enjoyed the tour. Cadillac Mountain was in the clouds so we did not see too much from up on top but nothing the tour company could do about that.

Does the company require payment at the time of reservation?

From what I read on their website, you need to give them your credit card number to hold a reservation for you.
