Isla Verde Vs Condado

Please see my post regarding the Hampton Inn. Have got reservations there in Isla Verde. Nothing seems to be open in the Condado area for 7/3. Can anyone compare these 2 areas as far as beach, restaurants & overall area? Will we be okay in Isla Verde or should we keep looking for something in Condado? Thanks!
