Transfer to San Jose airport

We will be arriving by ship in Puerto Limon, and we need transportation to the airport in San Jose. The only transfer offered by the ship leaves at 3AM to accommodate a large group with an early flight. We'd rather leave at a more reasonable hour since our flight is the next day.

Can you recommend a company that can provide this service?

Thanks. I have done that and already have a reply from one of the major tour operators. Looks like I have a reasonable solution.

Interesting. Both our hotel in San Jose and the cruise line have advised us against using a taxi to go from Limon to San Jose because the road is very dangerous. My own research turned up a unanimous warning against driving at night.

I wonder what makes a tour bus/ private driver any safer if a taxi is not recommended.

Anybody have any experience with Route 32 from Limon to San Jose?
