6 in 1 and 7 in 1 tours??

It seems that most of the private tour operators do very similar 6 in 1 and 7 in 1 tours....

 

Wondering if they "all work together" to provide these or just imitate each other to go to the same popular places.

 

It seems that many times we booked with one guide and were switched over to another (usually referred to as an uncle, cousin, etc. when we arrive.

I've found the tourism business to be organized and "integrated".

 

In their defence there are a limited number of attractions within a couple hour drive of the port. There are only so many mangrove tours, canopy tramways and butterfly sanctuaries. Some amount of coordination is required to keep everyone from showing up at the same time and can help if a guide is sick or a vehicle breaks down.
