How much time to allow for arrival Santiago, Chile?

Trying to find out how long it takes to get through customs etc on arrival in

Santiago Chile on a Wednesday 7:56 am by the time we get off the plane in

first class ( if that makes a difference) American Air., an hour?

Taking a taxi to downtown hotel 30 min?

Trying to see if I can make a 10 am walking tour at La Moneda.

Both times we visited Chile, we arrived via the cruise ship. However, if you arrive two hours prior to the walking tour, you are unlikely to make it. Immigration will not likely take long, but say 30 minutes, then waiting for luggage, then waiting for a taxi will probably not get you out of the airport before 9am at the earliest.

We have flown out of Santiago airport twice and it is a medium sized international airport. However, if there are many flights arriving along with your flight, it could take longer than 9am. Then you have the taxi ride to your hotel, which would easily take 30-45 minutes. Checking in may take some time. Did you arrange for an early checkin?

Then you have to find the start place for the walking tour. Is it close to your hotel?

Thanks for your advice.. we are being picked up by Leo Cuzmar and our walking tour ( private foodie tour) is being changed to 11 am .
