And last bit of info I have to provide. I booked this today and was SHOCKED  when they asked me which of the free at sea promotions I wanted with this booking. :D

This is a no brainier in my opinion for anyone with the points since the free at sea applies.

So did you do the offered cabin (inside) and not do any upgrade? Just thinking how that offer isn't even good for the guarantee cabin so even more surprised they applied it to this reward ... AWESOME for you. So what category cabin did you end up with from the offer. Wish I had the points, soooo close. Gonna really suck if they change that by the time I get to seriously consider grabbing one.

Sooo glad for you.

Thanks! I hope you get there. I did not upgrade to ocean view. We aren't in our room that much and I'd rather spend the $180 on an excursion or in the casino. They gave me a 1A cabin, I'm really just blown away with how well it worked out. I was so annoyed at the $200 pp admin fee I was going to back out but was scared there wouldn't be anything in the future. My total on this "free" 7 day cruise is $888 for 2 people, 1A cabin and the ultimate beverage package, I'm pleased.

Hope you other myvegas grinders can take advantage :D

Thanks for the info!

Doesn't sound like such a good deal with the $200 pp admin fee, unless you already sail NCL. :D

Our casino cruises from CCL have no admin fee, just port taxes: REAL port taxes, same as everyone else. And our 'free' cruise typically gets a bounce back freebie due to casino play during that week. Even RCI has started sending out 3 & 4 day 'free' cruises on select voyages. Another thing with the CCL casino freebs is that while you have to sail within 6 months and book in 2 weeks, you aren't limited on WHICH ship/sail date you can pick. So, no airfare if you are close to port. And then there's the ones that they pay you in cash when you get there with gifts. Better than Vegas, IMO.

But, SUPERTHANKS to those of you who 'took one for the team' and tried it out. And glad it works out to a discount for those it works for.

  • 2 weeks later...

So we are on myVegas, myVegas blackjack, myKOMMI, and Pop!slots all sharing the gold coins across these platforms. All apps are on our Android tablet, Ipad, Android phone and laptop

Found out that on Pop!slots, they stop awarding gold coins after a while. There is some kind of timer that has to run out before they will start the gold coins adding during play. Don't know what the time is and according to MyVegas there is a clock to click on that shows the time remaining but I couldn't find it. So I play until the gold coins stop then wait a few hours to play again.

This is supposedly to protect their reward members from hacked automatic computer play.

On POP I have not noticed timing has nothing to do with it, more about the LP amount you can earn during a 24 hour window. For me it seems to stop at 500 LP. If you buy coin then it will allow you to earn more, it seems related to what you can earn with their free coin which totally understand.

I emailed tech support about having noticed that after a while, it stopped rewarding gold coins through the shared balloons. Their specific response was that there was some kind of timer that would stop rewarding gold coins for some period of time. They said there was a countdown clock but I couldn't find it on the site. This is different from the bonus reward clock. Perhaps the timer starts after winning 500 LP, so we might both have the same observation.

I only play with free points, and they didn't indicate if it was different for purchased points.

So if free play has a limit of 500 coins/day, I'm working on a lost cause. 1,700,000 for a cruise = 500 a day for 3400 days or 9.3 years???

You can easily get more than 500 LP in a day if you play all of the 5 games. MyVegas PC, Mobile, Konami, Blackjack, and Pop Slots.

You just have to grind the hell out of the game in order to get the most LPs possible. Pop Slots is easily the worst when it involves getting LP. On the flip side, PC and regular mobile are probably the best for getting coins. Once you get high enough on PC, every level up is 1,000 LPs.

Make sure you get your daily spins in as well. At my level on PC my top coin amount is 1K which after multipliers turns into 8K.

Well I am speaking from what I see and a friend is playing too and it is the same for both of us, seems to stop after the 500 coins and she actually bought some coin one day and that day the LP points kept going long after the 500 (not sure what the cut off was then or if she played enough to reach it). Have played enough to notice the pattern.

All this said, I am only referring to the POP game as Me Dumb Me Seasick said above. Other games are different and have never noticed any pattern or if it stops. I think the original myVegas game is not limited to this low but I never have enough points in that game to know. But they all add together so it would be 500 for POP plus others for the day. So maybe 6 years LOL. I've been playing for few years and only free points and I am around 1.2 million.

I thought the max is 3 rewards within 30 days?

It's 5....just used them...and the site told me (as I cashed them in) that 5 was the limit.

The different Casino corps have difference maxes. The standard for all MGM rewards is 3. Depending on your purchasing and gaming you might have been given more. For instance I have 4 but hubby still only has 3.

Station casino max is 2, not sure about the others.

Some do not have a Max - monorail, wolfgang, maverick, etc.

On my last trip to Vegas I used 4 MGM ones and I think 3-4 non MGM ones.

Interesting...good to know.

I've had 5 rewards available within 30 days for a long time now (MLIfe - MGM)...more than 2 years. We've used up to that limit multiple times.

RCL is back on MyVegas as of today. NCL is still there too. The funny part about the RCL cruises is that right now they are only offering Empress sailings in Q4. RCL already offered me those same cruises for free lol

Yeal....Royal has been back for about a full day now...only Empress. Obviously pushing the "leftovers" for remaining cabins.

What's interesting is how the NCL prices are considerably higher.

The RCL ones are still pretty high (considering we only paid 400 or 500 K for a balcony on the Oasis for 7 days in April!)

I showed the list of available sailings to my wife and she said no. Guess CCL Vista in August, CCL Victory in September, RCL Enchantment in November is enough for her. She even wants to push out the Victory Bounce Back to something next January. Oh the pain - no cruise in October or December. Going to be hard to wait 66 days before boarding when we could be on the 10/15 Empress sailing in just 22 days.:D

Hoping the MyVegas players goble these offers up and then spend time in the ship's casino. If the offers are used and a return is seen by RCL, maybe we will see more and different itinerary offers and one will catch the wife's interest.

What has become obvious is that the inventories for RCI and NCL are leftover cabins on near-term cruises (which should come as no surprise, as discounting these is a "last resort" to fill the cruises).

Still...there is a gem here and there...but it takes constant following of what is being offered daily.

Tons of new cruises up on myvegas including Oasis and Allure. I just got an Oasis room during the week of Thanksgiving for a little under 1.3 million coins(I only had 1.4 million) which is fine because after 3 years of playing I was starting to think I would never get anything. It was the last thanksgiving inside room but there are balconeys and many other dates available. All you pay is your port fees and taxes of like $111 a person.

That's awesome! Do you have any tips on how to earn coins faster? I've been playing about the same length of time and only have 300,000! [emoji33]
