Southampton Port WS has her arrival as 1630: the 1430 shown on AIS will be the Nab Pilot Station.

Since it's not arriving and departing same day, and with no full load of passengers to discharge, would you think boarding on Sunday, 4 June might be earlier?

I would imagine, yes Quite often I have found that The QE and QV often board earlier.

Ray 66 - - Please let us know your thoughts while you are on board. It would be great to read a first hand report. Thanks if you can spare the time.

Welcome back to the Queen Victoria. An uncommon opportunity today to follow an afternoon arrival into Southampton.

If anyone wishes to watch the ships near West Bramble Buoy on the Solent then this website shows, enlarge your screen picture

This live webcam is operated by the New Holmwood Hotel in Cowes and shows a great view looking out to sea from the Hotel.

Stunning views around Ryde from this roving webcam which is located in All Saints Church on the Isle of Wight. As the camera moves around you can see many of the sights here including the Pier head and out across the sea where on a clear day you can see the mainland coast and towards Portsmouth.
