They looked more like my FIL did them... and the last time he did laundry was 30 years ago. I think we will give them another chance on the shirts as maybe we just had some bad luck.

Perhaps we have different expectations. At home, t shirts are folded and stored in drawers for casual wear, so we are accustomed to some creases from folding which ease at bit when worn. since they are casual wear, that is not an issue for us. OTOH, if you are accustomed to hanging your Tshirts at home, you may may have a larger adjustment to the ship's wash and fold service. Still if you considered them unwearable for a trip to the beach, you may well have had poor luck.

100% correct in your description. I am always in a t shirt if I am not at work. We do stay in a suite so my formal clothes do get pressed on the first formal night. We might have over loaded the bag a bit too which might have more wrinkles as they would have a hard time getting the items back into the bag.

Our clothes have always come back folded and in a large paper bag. Never got them back in the small plastic bag that we send out. Perhaps this is different from ship to ship. There is no way all the stuff that we cram into that small bag would fit once it is neatly folded.
Andrew-you just have bad luck!

You made me laugh out loud.
I'd rather have bad luck with laundry, and good luck with more important things. I have a great wife and a wonderful son, and wait for it... great in-laws too.
Maybe I have used up all my luck

When we were on the Allure I was able to tightly roll up several shorts, t-shirts, socks, cotton blouses and gym clothes all in one bag for $20.00 it was well worth it.

I also have found sport in seeing how much I can put in the bag. Bluejeans aren't mentioned, but I've included them with no problem.
I do think there is a risk is tightly compacting the items. I suspect that all the items in the bag are place in a mesh bag that isn't much bigger, and that is thrown in the washer. Too many items and they may not get a clean. But, again, this is pure speculation.

I do not know how they keep it all straight, but I wonder if they do some sorting. A few new red items could turn many white items pink...if washed together, those would be other people's whites . sorting would seem cheaper and more environmentally friendly than chemical stain catchers. If they sort, most people's laundry might be split into two or more mesh bags.
So far, my whites have come back white, so whatever they are doing seems to be working.

A small spray bottle with wrinkle release works wonders at getting the wrinkles out. Just spray the wrinkles, then grab and pull the fabric to smooth it out by hand.
It also helps to hang wrinkled items in the bathroom while a steamy shower runs.
