Hello helpful CCers.

Haven't heard too much recently about how the closure of the access gate from 17th St is affecting cruisers and B2B ers.

Can anybody share any thoughts and experiences. I know it will help a lot of cruisers that are so used to entering the Port via that gate and also the many B2B cruisers that would take the simple stroll through it to get to the stores nearby on 17th and the Harbor Shops area.

A map would be good showing old access and new access.

We are staying at the Hilton Marina pre-cruise (March 2015) and will take a taxi on cruise morning (too much luggage to haul on foot). What port entry route do we take now?

Thanks

Pete

Thanks for the swift replies.

Brilliant news that it isn't closed, just moved down a bit.

Looks like it will be business as usual then for us. Especially when we have turn around day. We can just stroll around to 17th St shopping, etc. Assuming we dock near to the bridge.

cheers

Pete
