Getting off in NJ....

Does anyone know if there is a bus or van service that goes back to NYC from the port when we return...We return on a Friday, hubby works so I dont want him to take the day off if I can find another way back home to the Bronx.

I know about the path train and how to get home from there, just want to know if there is also any other service going back to the city.

New Jersey Transit runs busses to the Port Authority near the Lincoln Tunnel...
