Avalon Bus Shuttle into Vienna City Center & Docking Location

Does Avalon provide bus transportation for guests while docked in Vienna? We plan on touring on our own in the afternoon & evening instead of extra Schönbrunn & concert options. If not, please share best transportation options & docking location. We will be there first weekend in September 2017.

They didn't provide shuttles last year. The easiest/most convenient way to get into the city is on the UBahn, line 1. Only 4 stops to the St. Stephen's stop.

Note that Vienna has two river boat docking areas. Most dockings are near Reichsbrucke and the U1 U-bahn as described above. BUT some dockings are at Nussdorf which is not nearly as convenient. I have docked 3 times in Vienna (all 3 with same line [not Avalon]) twice at Reichsbrucke, once at Nussdorf. You will probably get Reichsbrucke, but be aware. If I recall correctly there was a walkable S-bahn station in Nussdorf.
