Can you get dollar bills for the slot machines by going to a kiosk and getting the amount you ask for charged to your cruise card/credit card. (Can't remember if I saw it before and took a lot of cash aboard with me last time which I don't plan to this time)

You don't need single dollars...Put a $10 or $20 in a machine..play what you want, and cash out. It's cash in..TICKET out....take the ticket to the cashier and get your cash back.

Or just take a $10 or $20 directly to the cashier.

You can also give the cashier your Seapass card and ask for cash. They will charge you a 5% fee for this unless your account is set up as a cash account.

When playing the tables (roulette being the game of choice in my case), do you need to put down cash to get chips? Or do you request the amount you want and it gets charged to your account? If you can put down cash, does it need to be in US dollars? (I'm sailing from Sydney).

That answers my question. Thanks for the replies I did mean 10 and 20 dollar bills.

But as I'll get charged a fee I'll take the dollar bills aboard with me

Thanks

I was on Brilliance earlier this month & tried to get cash from the casino on my Seapass card & they would not give it to me...only chips for the tables or a voucher for slots....so I took the voucher for slots...put it in a machine...and then hit cash out.....

I don't mind chips or vouchers if I can get them from the cashier/kiosk with my Seapass card for no fee (i.e just the straight charge 20 for 20 to my credit card from my Seapass card) it will save me taking a lot of 20 dollar bills aboard with me

Whether it's cash or vouchers there is still the 5% fee unless you set up a cash account.
