Rental car at port and UK driving licence

Hi folks. Just wondering how easy it will be to rent a car for the day at the port? Or should we book in advance? It is our first port of call so really depends how tired I am hence not wanting to book in advance. And is a UK licence OK for driving in Aruba or do I need an international driver's permit? Thanks!

I messaged several different companies and booked with Royal for our day in port. Some of them will not rent for just the day, I found out. If you google Royal Rental Car Aruba, it should come right up. They meet me right at the port for pickup and the rental price I'm paying includes insurance. Not sure about your DL, but check their website. Or message them. They were pretty easy to work with.
